Monthly Showcase

Welcome to my Monthly Showcase! This page features a curated selection of my latest photographs from trips taken during the current month. Depending on where my travels have taken me, you'll find captivating images of big cats, small cats, birds, reptiles, and landscapes. Each month, this gallery is refreshed with new moments from the wild—stay tuned for fresh perspectives from the field.

November i visited Bera  , Dikhala  and Pillibith . On my first trip of the season to Dhikala, the forest felt alive with new stories. A lot had shifted since my last visit—territories seemed to have changed hands, and even the river has altered its course. How permanent any of this is, only time will tell.

Parwalli’s two female cubs have moved towards Sambar Road, while Pedwalli herself seems to be exploring fresh ground, with sightings of her coming in from beyond Sarpduli. The Gathia Rau female now appears to have taken over the stretch between Rohinipadau and High Bank, seemingly pushing Titili out of her range.

Even the landscape is rewriting itself—this season, the Ramganga has shifted course for the first time in nearly 15 years.

I was fortunate to witness some beautiful moments with both tigers and elephants, but honestly, just being back in Dhikala after six long months felt special in its own way.

On the way back, I decided to do a couple of safaris at Pilibhit and was lucky to have one great sighting of a female tiger. The frames were unique—the tiger walking gracefully on the sand of a dried canal that had been drained for repairs.

Bera as usual did not disappoint.
